Traian Pantheon

Traians are famous for readily adopting other gods into their pantheon. The best scholars put the number of deities worshiped in Traia, by Traians, over 1000. Dashia is called the City of 1000 Gods. Cults are popular in Traia and are seen as something of a status symbol. Many are just excuses to party and rub elbows with some religious overtones, but just as many are serious about their faith. They are an accepted part of the culture in Traia and almost everyone has had some interaction with cults in their lifetime. It's especially common for young adults to join cults as they seek to build their own identities away from their parents, and forge connections of their own to carry them into adulthood. This is especially true for the children of lords and the wealthy. Very akin to the real-world practice of joining a sorority or fraternity in college.

Divine Origins

Traia has its own gods, of which there are about a dozen, but over the millennia hundreds of other deities have crept into it. Almost all of them have been imported through visitors and immigrants arriving over water to the Great Port.
