Athena was assingned to the crossroads to take notes on who enters the city in her book of census. The only people allowed to read that book is members of the order of history. Each adventurer is recorded by the name they are given, that was history of adventurers is known.
Athena's life has been a simple one. She is in her 50's and owns a house within the city. She loves training at the temple of Victor to keep her skills up although she is a sharp and witty follower of maxi. Usually members of the order of history either worship Libby or Maxi, its a personal choice for which. She has a daughter who she is hoping follows in her path. She thinks history is something not to be ignored and wants to be part of it in her own unique way. She will get excited about every new traveller that she records, as she believes that the life-stories of everyone are unique and important and information about them should be noted. She loves knowledge, poetry and finds them incredibly attractive. Ss part of her initation training, her memory was made to be really good. She works on the desk every day and will take no shit if given the wrong name.
Athena is married to the barkeeper Noah. She is probably the reason why he knows everything, and she knows everything.The monks of history record the real history of Ereteria, not falsehood, what really happens, the records of who is really around, like census data for example, they record the truth and look at both sides of view to get an accurate description of events. They keep these events in a locked up library. They also are responsible for recording notes, gathering knowledge and taking note of who enters a city and when.

Athena was born into the order of History. Her parents were part of the order before the war. They were magic users and escaped using the underground network to the Crossroads and managed to gain bracelets for themselves and Athena. They homeschooled her in the teachings of the order and she managed to get her job with this knowledge. Having Noah around helps too. As part of the order, the initates are tasked with learning something not very well known. Athena managed to travel down to the place where hidden knowledge is kept and being part of the order, learned many things.
