Samurai: 5E Class

After centuries of training, the elf stands in a field of golden wheat, her eyes closed as a horde of goblins rush in from all sides. As the goblins charge brings them within striking distance, with a flick of the wrist, the human unsheathes her longsword, slicing into the first goblin then quickly teleporting to three different goblins, performing a blink strike to each before assuming a tiger claw stance.   The human walks alongside the lord’s guards, his eyes slowly scanning the crowd for potential threats. Suddenly, an arrow streaks from a high rooftop. In an instant, the human reacts and assumes a flowing river stance before activating his hand of the shogun to easily block the attack.   Samurai are skilled martial combatants that utilize an array of combat stances and techniques to get the upper hand. While a barbarian or fighter might stand toe to toe with an enemy, absorbing blows with their rage or heavy armor, the samurai prefers a more versatile approach. Thanks to their extensive training, the samurai has a repertoire of combat stances, each providing unique benefits. By swapping into different stances as new problems arise in combat, combined with a multitude of martial techniques empowered by vigor, the samurai is more than ready to showcase pure martial skill.

Creating a Samurai

When creating your Samurai, consider whom you are sworn to protect. Were you born into an allegiance or did you have to work your way up in society before taking on selfless service. Perhaps you have betrayed your oath and become a ronin, wandering from town to town in search of purpose.
