Reaper: 5E24 Class
Wielders of grim power, Reapers blend martial skill with necromantic magic to embody death’s inevitability. They bind fragments of departing souls, shaping that essence into spectral strikes, life-draining power, and otherworldly resilience. When their Mantle of Death unfurls, Reapers take on a terrifying form, their weapons transforming into scythes that reap both body and spirit.
Reapers see themselves not only as executioners but also as reminders of mortality. Some serve as divine heralds of judgment, others as merciless hunters who stalk the dying, and still others as harbingers who carry death’s omen into every battle they join.
Drawn to whispers of the grave, omens of fate, and the thin boundaries between planes, Reapers walk where others fear. They are not priests, but their very presence carries a funereal weight. Whether feared as killers, respected as heralds, or embraced as guardians against undeath, Reapers embody the certainty that all things must end.
Mantle of Death
The Mantle of Death is the Reaper’s defining transformation, and no two manifestations look alike. One Reaper may become a cloaked figure wreathed in shadow, another may sprout skeletal wings of bone, while another’s flesh blackens as ghostly eyes blaze in their skull. The scythe itself may appear spectral, burning, or jagged like obsidian. Players are encouraged to decide how their Mantle looks, reflecting their Reaper’s origin, beliefs, or the fears they wish to inspire.Becoming a Reaper...
