Golemancer: 5E Class
A young orc stands alone in the wheat fields outside of town. Sprinting toward her, a pack of ravenous Gnolls spots an easy meal. Unconcerned, the orc steps forward, chanting quietly. An explosion of rock and dirt erupts from the ground beside her as two towering stone golem rise, ready to defend their commander.
Exhausted from the unrelenting undead assault, the Paladin fights through the chaos, defending his ancestral homeland. Suddenly, a bright flash of lightning strikes outside the monasteries’ entryway. Three golem infused with primordial energy from the elemental planes rush into the fray, their Elf commander close behind.
Golemancers command powerful companions, effortlessly shaping the world’s natural material into powerful constructs. No two Golemancers and their golem creations are the same, as Golemancers augment and mold unique crafting wonders thanks to the unique ashard alloy injected into their bloodstream. One thing is certain, by harnessing the power of ashard alloy and withstanding the pain of its bonding process, Golemancers and their golem companions make a formidable team on the battlefield.
Ashard Alloy
Before a Golemancer can manipulate the natural components around them, they must first undergo the painful ashard alloy bonding process. Ashard gemstones are scarce minerals typically mined from the bodies of deceased gemstone dragons or collected from meteorites that have fallen from the Black Sea of Nothingness.
When ground into dust and mixed with the user’s blood, the magical properties found in the ashard gemstone link with the Golemancer’s life source, granting magical control of the elements. As the user grows with the ashard alloy compound, the art of Golemancy takes shape as the Golemancer mentally wills iron and stone around them, shaping their surroundings into golem companions.
