O&F5 Session 13: the Cappebraccian Defenestrations

Conflict ensues as Oloward the Magnificent and the Faithful Five find their cover blown at the Scarlet Bastion. In what turns out to be the start of a chaotic encounter, Oloward the Magnificent, Nykkaen Kimbatuul and Tavi wade in to fend off the scarlatti guards and their ferocious death dogs, while Bubbles San uses his accidental transport to the stables to his advantage to cause a stir by loosing a stampede of warhorses on the castle's inhabitants.   Meanwhile, the alarm is raised about the presence of Ievos and Elentari "Ela" in Callado Royas's quarters, sending a number of guards dashing across the courtyard to apprehend them. Bubbles, seeing this, dashes through the main hall of the keep and rushes up to the second floor, but he runs into five guards, whom he tries to fool into thinking he is a reinforcement requested by the condottiere himself. This doesn't work, but as they try to grab him, he dashes past them and uses his magic into having them believe his account.   In the condottiere's study, the two elves make short work of the condottiere by throwing him out of a window onto the cliffs below. When Bubbles arrives, all that's left by way of a threat is Fido, the condottiere's pet hellhound, whom they dispatch with some difficulty. They barricade the door to avoid the guards, then book it towards the arsenal as they hear the guards approach.   Meanwhile, the battle at the arsenal continues as Oloward, Nykkaen and Tavi dispatch the guards and their death dogs.
