Butterpond
The settlement of Butterpond is a quiet town located on an island in the middle of a fresh water lake. All of the locals are super friendly and band together for the betterment of everyone. There is no problems only situations.
Demographics
Butterpond is a very diverse settlement filled with Humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes. Almost all individuals are living comfortably with everyone helping each other no matter what it is. There is no rich or poor on the island. Everyone shares what they can so that all are equally happy.
Government
A ruling government doesn't exist on the island. A wise group of elders gather in times of needs to decide for the settlement. Very few problems arise on the island. The City States Coalition only rely on Butterpond for their fishing.
Defences
Butterpond does not field a defense force officially. Locals gather together to handle any outlaws or hooligans.
Industry & Trade
This one happy island focuses mainly on fishing and boat building. Small boats get built on the island and sometimes shipped overland routes to bigger cities in need. Fishing is a huge percentage of the economy of Butterpond. Many exotic sea animals reside in the lake surrounding the island. Fishing tourism is also a source of income for many island dwellers.
Infrastructure
The island consist of dirt roads and small stacked housing structures. Main transportation around the island are small carts and walking. There is one large dock that brings in cargo and travelers. Most of the surrounding beaches have small fishing boats beached from the local fishermen.
Districts
The Dockyard District is the only developed district one the island. This is where the main fish market is located as well as the islands boatyard and major docks. The rest of the island consists of residential houses and small eateries.
Assets
On this island there is plenty of boating supplies for small boats and fishing gear. Most of the island has very little variety of supplies, they only place to find valuables or more supplies would be in the Dockyard District Market
Guilds and Factions
The Merchant Guild has a small hand in Butterpond with some minor influence in the Dockyard Market. But for the most part the way they locals keep the island safe and happy is too resist outside influences. Butterpond is a part of the City State Faction they don't provide any service or resource to the faction other than fish and small boats.
History
Butterpond was founded by a small group of individuals trying to leave an nearby faction. Wanting to escape the constant problems of the world, they formed a small village and name it Butterpond after the refugee groups leader Alfred Butterpond. When other heard about the island and how they lived with no problems more and more refugees and others wanting a new start showed up. The island slowly developed into what it is today and sprawling fishing town with everyone helping each other for the greater good and very little problems.
Points of interest
The most popular spot of the island is the Dockyard Market. Most people go there for the great expanse of goods that occasionally comes in from the outside world. This is located near the only major Dock, where cargo and travelers come in and out of as well as Boatyard where the best Fishing boats are built.
Tourism
Most of the Tourism that comes through Butterpond are those looking for the exotic fishing trips on the lake. The locals on the island know the best practices to finding hard to catch sea creatures. Some tourists come to Butterpond to have a taste of thier way of life but only a few tourist are allowed at one time. To many tourists would cause more problems.
Architecture
Most of the buildings built on the island are made of wood. They all have worn exteriors but are kept up to a reasonable state. Very little structures are in any state of disrepair as locals band together to fix things as quickly as possible.
Geography
Its an island with sparsely plotted tress. Mostly grass covered ground with dirt roads throughout the island. Fog tend to cover the island in the morning but burns off quickly. The lake itself is fresh water and is connected to the ocean.

Mostly very temperate climate. Mild winters and gorgeous summers. Temperatures never get to hot or cold. Very dense fog is the only.
Natural Resources
Fish are the most abundant resource that the island. Unknown to the locals an unknown resource sits beneath the island.
