To this violet sands

Calm was the day When the enemy came The wizard, insane Called the bringer of pain   We tried to resist With no more than our fists But we're turning'to mist We would cease to exist   So when hope was all gone And to death we were prone He came, all alone Our savior, The One   And excelling on fight He stood by our side Flames on spear giving light They fought for three nights   The Destroyer was killed Hero's mission fullfilled All our people was kneeled "Gratitude we feel"   So we gave him our land He was now in command And we sailed, all the men To this violet sands   Nala stood there however She was more than just clever Go away she would never She'd for him sing forever

The song refer to a mythical episode in Illarin culture, the fight of Erkhyn. It supposedly happened in the 6th century B.F., when the Illarin still inhabited only the Ancestors' Island.   In this story, the Destroyer, summomed by a Hadakin wizard, brings an unbearable destruction to their villages. Before the damage is fully completed, however, Erkhyn appears and fights against the monster. With great skill and determination, the hero is victorious, bringing peace to the Illarin once again.   In gratitude to that act, the Illarin give Erkhyn their island and sail towards the continent, reaching Violet Bay in Talung's east coast.   However, a Illarin named Nala decided to stay with Erkhyn in the island, singing for him every night the most beautiful songs of her people.   This song is singed collectively every year during the Flowered Feast, even after the Discovery. The Illarin like to keep their people's traditions alive, although they are not guided by them in the same way anymore. It's much more a matter of respect to their people's memories.
