Nonnia
Far in the deepest parts of nature, the Nonnia reside. Enjoying the fruits of nature and preferring the calm, slow life of their secluded villages over the hustle and bustle of city life, Nonnia are a fairly rare sight on the roads and in the towns of Evangil.
Owning their linage to the ancient Druids that sought ways to come closer to nature, the Noonia are a race more in touch with animals and the spirit of the wild. The Nonnia arehuman-like but with animal like features like ears, feet and tails of their patron animal. They usually live in their own villages and tribes, giving and taking from nature and living in balance with the land. They exist in on almost continent and climate but because of their timid nature, are not easy to spot and generally live in solitude with their kin.
Naming Traditions
Family names
Differing from tribe to tribe, the Noonia tend to not have family names, instead going by the parents names with a "Son/Daughter of" prefix. Nonnia families tend to have themes to the naming of children that often continue for generations, one family might have namnes centered around plants, such as Rose, Lilly and Fern, while another family might have names themed on heavenly bodies and so on.
Nonnia raised in more multicultural or larger societies will often have names based on that cultures naming convention, either being given a family name or adopting one due to necessity.
