Kali - The Fighter

Kali was a blessed follower of the old God of War. She was a skilled fighter and a big influence on those that followed her teachings and lifestyle. After she died she was reborn as a minor deity who continued to serve the old God of War. In her early era she inspired rage and bloodlust in soldiers and warriors, unaware of how she was feeding into the destruction of the world. in the middle of the Gods War she came to the conclusion that she was walking the wrong path. joing side with the (going to be) new god of war and peace Kali decided to focus on the discipline to control rage and bloodlust,. Understanding when violence is necessary and how much one can use is important. A warrior can only understand their rage once they understand self-control. Humans who followed her new teachings built a temple in her name located at the base of @Rampar, at the edge of Lunarii Reach. Devoted priests and priestesses live there with their students. Men, women and children practice mental discipline and the art of fighting.

  • Kali does not differentiate between men and women, children or adults. Anyone can
  • be a fighter and anyone can be struggling with rage. Anyone is encouraged to learn discipline and control.
  • Kali encourages independence and standing one's ground by any means necessary. If
  • someone crosses your lines, respond fiercely.
  • Being a fighter doesn’t mean you must be a warrior or use violence. Some people
  • fight other demons in their hearts, minds or injustice in the world. Learn discipline to unshackle yourself from your own demons.
  • Never let rage or fear control you. The fighter controls themselves.
  • Kali visits the temple in spirit form every 10 years during the Kalisuri Festival to
  • relay wisdom and see her followers. Methods to practice discipline:
  • Breath work will center you into your body. Long and deep breaths will balance the
  • energies in your blood and help control the rage.
  • Dancing channels the same energies as fighting.
  • Meditation.
  • Martial Arts. It strengthens the soul, mind and body.
  • Eat healthy and balanced. Listening to the body is important.
