Winter Elves
Winter Elves possess soft snow like skin, dark black hair and are said to have flawless beauty. The winter elves seemed to gain their mistresses cold demeanor and propensity to battle with other elves of Velthanor. While most the elven people seemed content to get along, Winter Elves routinely had border disputes and confrontations with their elven kin. Winter Elves ceased to be after the sundering and the blight upon the winter court. However at the twilight of the second age, Winter was free of Thurazdur's blight and many Winter Elves were able to regain their former state of being. Many Winter elves in this age have ashen skin and stark white hair, a lasting effect of the blight. They are potentially even more quarrelsome in this age as they attempt to restore their shattered homelands.

Culture and cultural heritage
Winter Elves are the protectors of the Dawn, while the outside world may see them as callous, cold, and scheming, internally they viewed their actions thru the lense of protecting the elven people thru dark times and are the heralds of light, as the sun returns to Eraneth after a long winter. This grim yet determined outlook persists into the era of the second age after the blight, tho no longer concerned with their elven kin, these Winter Elves have tread thru the deepest depths of winters darkness and are prepared to bring a new age to their people as night begins to recede.
Shared customary codes and values
Winter Elves of the first age railed against the oppressive nature of the Summer Elves upon Velthanor. This lead their people to become mistrusting of other elves intentions, as well as outsiders, and to play games of great intrigue and political guile. This world of cloak and dagger trickled thru all aspects of their people, including their internal rivalries. After the blight, Winter Elves have been placed in a challenging predicament. They bear the mark and reputation of nearly 2000 years as ruthless Shadow Elves, but now seek to rebuild their shattered homeland and society. Winter Elves of the Late Second Age are unified in the goal of rebuilding their once great civilization and protecting it by any means necessary. They waste nothing, and utilize every opportunity presented to them.
Common Etiquette rules
Winter Elves keep a general cold distance between themselves and those they do not know intimately. Potential guests and new friends are often observed and measured for potential threats, but if none are found, Winter Elves will lavish them with gifts and praise. This can be done with a variety of intents, showing prosperity of ones house in the bleak surroundings of their shattered homes, luring others into a false sense of security, or genuinely building relationships and bonds of loyalty.
Common Dress code
Winter Elves seem to never be touched by the chilling cold of winter and tend to wear very revealing clothing at all times. Women favor silks, and barely covering robes, while Men tend to wear tight fitting garments, vests leaving their chests exposed, or often times no shirt, despite their cool climate.
Art & Architecture
Winter Elf Cities in their prime favored a gothic style architecture with an elven flair, bending dark woods into buttressing supports for soaring jagged spires. After the blight, winter elves make do with what they can salvage, rebuild, and regrow in the blighted lands surrounding the great sundering. Art tended towards powerful images of dominance within society, the elven form in the nude is prevalent often bordering on the erotic.
