Thurazdur the Void Eternal

Thurazdur ascended at the end of the 1st age to become a deific being trapped in the Shadow Realm. Theorized to have been a dragon of the Age of Wonder he achieved Lichdom and hid among the living from millennia to millennia as he worked to further his immortality. This plan culminated in the Second Great Dragon War which marked its end with the sundering of Velthanor, the Blighting of the realm of Winter, and his ascension. His path to the Celestial realms cut off his skeletal visage now covered in malevolent shadow claimed sovereignty of the realm between realms. As his power grew thru the Second Age his attempt to invade the Celestial realms was thwarted and resulted his unnatural stasis and the closing of the Celestial Gates.

Divine Domains

Nyxtharion, the Fortress of Shadow, was wrought by Thurazdur when he seized his throne within the Shadow Realm. It looms as a colossal citadel of black onyx, encircling a towering mountain spire wreathed in endless darkness. Within the heart of that mountain lies the draconic god’s lair, where the great dracolich slumbers in a dread stasis, awaiting the hour of his awakening. The fortress is ruled in his stead by Glandur Norovathar, a death knight of terrible renown and one of Thurazdur’s Bonded Kindred, who has served his master faithfully across the millennia. The halls of Nyxtharion are filled with the remnants of countless souls, some fanatically devoted to the promise of the Immortality, others bound unwillingly by Thurazdur’s might, their essence devoured to sustain the Hollow Wyrm’s power.

Holy Books & Codes

In a place of silence and darkness, light a single candle and then carve or etch the shape of a dragon’s skull into bone, stone, or rotting wood. Place a token of death, a decayed leaf, a dead insect, or a drop of blood into the mouth of the skull. While doing so, whisper a prayer to Thurazdur, invoking the stillness of Nothingness and offering your own body to decay when your time comes should you not be found worthy of his eternal gift. End the rite by extinguishing the light source, ensuring you finish the act in total darkness. Void energy now heals you as if you are undead. If you are undead, Vitality damage no longer harms you for the day.

  1. Imparted Power: Gain the Domain Initiate Feat, this does not count as a prerequisite for other feats unless you are a Cleric

  2. Service Eternal: You are able to harness the power of your lords power and raise the corpses of the fallen to serve you as you serve him. Gain the Summon Undead spell as a divine innate spell heightened to your level that you may cast 3 times per day.

  3. Advanced Imparted Power: Gain the Advanced Initiate Feat, this does not count as a prerequisite for other feats unless you are a Cleric

  4. Aura of Oblivion: Once per day, you can channel the essence of Thurazdur, cloaking yourself in a 15ft aura of shadow and darkness for 1 minutes. Once per round on subsequent turns, you can Sustain the aura to increase the emanation's radius by 10 feet. All enemies within take 3d12 Void damage when they enter or start their turn inside the shadowy aura. They must also make a basic Will save or become frightened(frightened 2 on a critical failure), the frightened condition does not reduce within the aura. Undead allies within the aura heal for 3d12 hp when they start or enter the aura.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The holy symbol of Thurazdur takes the form of a skeletal dragon’s skull and skeletal ribcage suspended above a jagged eight-pointed star of broken spines, shattered blades, or other such iconography. Fashioned from onyx, rusted iron, or bone, the emblem is both talisman and warning, declaring its bearer’s soul bound to the Void Eternal alone.

Tenets of Faith

The edicts of Thurazdur are to seek power and immortality through undeath, hoarding the essence of your soul rather than surrendering it to the natural cycle, for all other paths lead only to the decay of oblivion.

It is anathema to Thurazdur to destroy undead unless such an act directly strengthens your own immortality or increases your dominion. To willingly allow your soul to pass into the hands of another god.

Holidays

Cults of Thurazdur worship and hold reverant the anniversary of the great Sundering and their Lords ascension.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

To see the extinguishing of the cycle of souls upon Eraneth and create a perfect Utopia of immortality in undeath that he alone shall rule upon Eraneth.
