The Outcast Races

The Outcast Races are a list of humanoid and giant-kin species that are denied citizenship within The United Baronies of Aldruet , outside The Duchy of Tiden. This is so as retribution for the tyranny placed upon the Aldruen people by these races during their occupation of Aldruet.   The races affected are: Drow, goblinoids, gnolls, ogres, orcs, and trolls.   These races are permitted to live within Aldruet but are denied many of the rights afforded to other races. Among other things they are forbidden from being married, involved in politics, or given a fair trial in the event of a crime. In fact, crimes are often pinned on members of outcast races with little investigation. Crimes where the victim is a member of an outcast race are not even considered crimes unless enacted in excessive repetition or vulgarity.
