Personal history
How old the Red Queen is, is unknown. For as long as anyone can remember, she has ruled the largest isle of the Dread Isles. That her rule has been inconsistent is however something a few remember. Word has it that how good her rule is, depends on if something has caught her eye and what it is. Lately, her rule has been fairly poor as she hasn't had anything that has interested her. Some suspect that she tries to forget a former lover and when she finds something that keeps her interest, she is able to forget her lose, however briefly it is.

She has since long grown too old to care about the small details. She also tends to not be interested in new people as she has seen most things at this point. Rarely does she find someone who catches her eye, though when she does, she does everything she can to keep them, even going so far as to enslave them. Several have gotten themselves killed out of fright for her affection.
