First Permanent Lunar Colony

The first permanent extra planetary colony in the solar system had been established on the Moon. Due to Luna's low gravity and abundance of Helium 2 ions (a staple for fusion reactors at the time humanity was able to easily fabricate and launch rockets, probes, and space infrastructure across the system. Mars would be the second celestial body in the solar system to be colonized.
