The FTS Standard Certification Unit, commonly called the Credit or Cert, is a unit of wealth based on Exotic Matter nuclei. A single nucleus is usually worth 100,000 Credits; however this price fluctuates as demand for this exotic matter increases or decreases.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Credits are stored in a purely digital medium, often within individual bank accounts. Small, coin-shaped computer systems with basic visual displays specifically designed to store credit information can be obtained and used for physical trading. A single coin can hold up to 999 credits. Credits cannot be stored on any other medium, except for government-approved devices; such as credit mainframes used in banking. A single credit takes up nearly 5 MB of storage space in the form of encrypted code.
