In Equilibrium the Einstein-Rosen Bridge works as Einstein predicted. Differences are:

entrance to the tunnel can be large enough for a ship
energy needs are low, but go up with the mass of the ship
time needed to travel is minimal
(unknown) events and effects exist inside the tunnel

Notes: Einstein predicted that Time travel is not possible. Travelling a large distance in a infinite small amount of time enable us to look back in the past.
