Menmerin
Menmerin was founded on the premise that war would always reign in Trair Echan. The council in the city was meant to adjudicate and prevent conflicts from escalating too large, but in the recent years, the council's say-so has hardly been final.
The city itself houses a large population and booming commerce, focusing on ship building and woodworking in general. The woodworkers of Menmerin are famous all the way down south of Vaspheqa, and are a source of pride for the Traie Echanese who do not want to play sides in the endless battles between territories.
The libraries housed in the city, the Forte Athenaeum, are some of the largest in Trair Echan. Forte Athaneum are were initially founded by an order of rangers and druids from the earliest days of Trair Echan, but the libraries since been taken over by monks and wizards who worship Savras, god of knowledge and magic.
Another thing Menmerin is famous for is its organized games that do not involve fighting. Competitions of strength and speed of all kinds are popular, some involve horseback riding or navigating magical mazes. Tri-yearly grand games draw quite the crowd from all territories and beyond the boundaries of the country due to large sums of gold and other rare prizes being involved.
