District Commerce

District Commerce is the financial district of Epicenter, as well as the city’s major travel hub. The heart of District Commerce is National Station, the center of the city’s bus and train lines. This section of the city also includes several access points to the rivers that run through the city, as well as serving as the central hub of the city’s metro transit lines.   NATIONAL STATION: The central travel hub of the city, National Station welcomes visitors to the city from all over the world. The city has set up a comprehensive information system that provides up-to-the-minute reports on incidents in the city, letting commuters know exactly what areas to avoid if they don’t want their travels interrupted by larger-than-life superhero conflicts. Of course, for those in search of such things, it also serves as something of a tour guide …   For those coming to the city specifically to cause trouble, National Station has sometimes been an easy first target. The security in the building is extensive, but for powerful enough troublemakers, sometimes actual superhero intervention is unfortunately needed.   FINANCIAL DISTRICT: Historically, the offices of the city’s major banks are in District Commerce. While this may make for a seemingly easy target for the city’s criminal element, there seem to be enough local heroes keeping an eye on the obvious target to compensate for this.   NATION SOCIETY HALL: The first headquarters for the city’s first superhero team, the Nation Society. While the Society is no longer active as a superhero team, they do serve now as curators of superheroic history. Additionally, they offer their services as archivists, and maintain a vault for superheroic gear or weaponry that members of the community don’t see fit to leave in the hands of the DPA. Currently, the curators of the Nation Society Hall include Fighting Devil I, Mr. Mercury & the original Green Lama.
