Infinity Gemstones
These stones are said to each hold a vast amount of power over the cosmos. Each one is extremely powerful and dangerous to both the user and those around them. They formed with the creation of the the Cosmos and are said to be able to create and destroy all things if ever they were to somehow be combined.
Historical Basis
No one believed in the existence of such gemstones until very recently in high up organizations. The common folk don't likely even know what they are and have never even heard of them.
