Personal history
Galetea was not born on the continent instead she was born in the north where her mother had been taken on a long raiding party when she was born her mother abandoned her in a basket and sent her out to sea. It was out on the sea where she would be found by a local lord who would raise her as his own.
He named her after a pendant she had around her neck. He took her back to his home in Iwabiro. She was trained by her new father in the art of sword play where she would practice every day. This instilled discipline in her. When the Emperor went about reclaiming the nation they came to Iwabiro where Galetea was able to defend her castle for a week on her own but, she eventually had to give it up when her father was killed.
After his death she had to flee the castle where she took on mercenary work earning her a decent reputation and pay. She was eventually recruited by the cult of shadows who offered to pay her a decent sum. She agreed to come on where she was partnered with Culla. The two got along because they both didn't care to much on social interaction and just wanted to get the job done.
