The clan’s seat is the wood palisade Motte & Bailey Shell Keep VIII. B'ran Roderick Crevan holdings are along the western edges of the Eorldom and across the Jar river from the holdings of Clan Balgair. The trail to the holdings runs through the Caer of B’ran Rustin and so the Clan uses the river more so than roads compared to others of this Eorldom. This includes a minor boatyard in the village of Carelone. The boats made here are usually for running food and items from Jaronne. Of note are some special single person boats the more adventurous use to run the rapids of the Jar river just downstream from Carelone. These rapid runners are extremely light and have skin stretched over a light wooden frame. These rapid runners are rarely taken to the end of the rapids due to the beast that dwells in the lowest rapids and the still waters beyond them.
The holding was traditionally not a rich one with its economy consisting of farming and fishing but with the recent finding of Alabaster on the lands and the beginning of a quarry to extract this rare almost translucent white stone the B’ran is finding new money which he has so far not been sharing with his people.
B’ran Roderick has not remarried since the death of his first wife, a cousin of the Eorl of Barsim, while she was giving birth to their third child. It is rumoured that he has several unacknowledged bastard children with at least one being in his warband. The eldest, a girl has been married to the oldest boy of B'ran Pawl Rustin. His son, Æsc, is a warrior of no special talents and has completed most of his training in both warcraft and administration. His youngest boy has not found his place and Roderick is concerned he may be a layabout.
B’ran Roderick wears chainmail hauberk (+4) as does his Elstash guard(+2), ring mail for Ijeiss and Areiss, sword (+4) & lance (+3) for the B’ran and his Elstash guards (+2 swords), the Ijeiss and Areiss use axes and longbows (+1) respectively. The B'ran has a Great Warhorse that was a gift from the Eorl in return for help during the plague.
The witch Trystine provides B'ran Roderick with magic and divination assistance when needed. Trystine is ML 8 and lives off the beaten track just beyond the village of Sutton, but is not really a secret since locals go to her for healing and the removal of or protection from curses. It's rumoured she can even help with a love potion or not well known even poison.
