The Rustin clan’s seat is the walled hilltop village of Rustin just north and west of Jaronne. It also provides the most direct road access to Clan Crevan. B’ran Pawl Rustin’s Caer comprises a wooden palisade motte and bailey with shell keep VII.
The economy of the Rustin clan is a combination of farming and the coal and iron mines. As well, Rustin Clan is known for making very good iron wire and rings for the manufacturing of chainmail (+1 to +2 quality), rivaling those of the Eorl himself. Serr Pawl and his wife Maeve of clan Reynard (a cousin of Erfon Reynard), have three children, the oldest a daughter went missing two years ago and was last seen riding a horse on the road to Jaronne. Extensive searches and the lack of a ransom lead all to believe either foul play resulting in death or she had left home and did not want to be found. His next child, a boy, is also accomplished in the skills of a warrior at the young age of 13 while their youngest a girl is becoming an accomplished scholar and has an interest in the Materia Druidic (she is a student of Sabia Magees).
Sabia Magees is a young but powerful Druid (ML 7) who provides counsel to this clan. She studied under Sláine Duncansons and is also a high ranking member of the Hyandic faith. Sabia Magees is one of the best in this region and is expected to take on Duncansons’s role when the time comes. Sabia will be present for any important meetings the B'ran has with others. Otherwise she will be attending to the sick in the village or patrolling with the Warband.
Clan Chief Pawl Rustin wears chainmail hauberk (+4) as does his Elstash guard (+2), ring mail (+1) for the Ijeiss and Areiss, swords, lances and short bows for the B'ran (+4 sword) and his Elstash guards (+2), Ijeiss and Areiss use axes and longbows at least +1 respectively.
