Other Faiths

Yondalla

Some halflings follow a faith that focuses on Yondalla above the other members of the Dusarnti. They believe her to be the goddess of life, fertility, protection and birth - the manifestation of nature and the world itself. They believe that everything comes from her and everything must return to her. She watches over all, keeping the balance.

Gruumsh

Orcs believe that all the gods of the other races exist, but their god Gruumsh is stronger. A warrior and leader with an affinity to winter and storms, the orcs believe that across the centuries Gruumsh has bound himself in mortal flesh to lead and aid his followers, manifesting as great commanders and leaders of their people. Krugorim, the orc chieftain who brought together and led the Great Horde, is believed to have been one of the many orcish heroes who was actually Gruumsh come down to the earth.

Maglubiyet

Maglubiyet is the deity of the goblins, often referred to as 'He of the Deep'. When they go raiding they pray to him and drop offerings into the ocean, that he might guide their way and bring them to riches. Though he is their only god, he has become closely linked to navigation and cunning due to goblin societies dependence on raiding - while he is the god of everything, the raid is when they seek his guidance.

Bahumut & Tiamat

Born amongst the first batch of dragonborn, it was these two who freed the race from their servitude and led them from the Burning Seas to Eorin and their new home on Vloihsh. While the dragonborn do not believe them to be gods, the two of them are held up as the saviours and founders of their race, paragons of what they can be. Young dragonborn are taught to emulate them and to strive to follow in their footsteps.
