Dwarf

The Fel are the true natives of Eorin and once inhabited the whole region. For over three millennia they were the only people in the sub-continent, until the first elves landed on the shores of the Shimmering Isles, marking the start of the Second Era. From that moment the Fel were pushed northwards as their lands were taken by first the elves and then the humans and they were slowly separated into isolated areas and realms. Their ancient monuments and earthworks can still be found all across Eorin, a lingering memory of their once broad and expansive civilisation.   The Duarfel, or "hill folk", originate from the swathe of land between the Arau Mountains and the eastern end of the Gildur Mountains, most of which is now contained within Elderen. They were forced out of this land and now only still hold their mountain territories.   While their society tends to be withdrawn and guarded, their painful history still fresh in their minds, the dwarves engage in trade with many of their neighbouring races and realms and are known as shrewd merchants as well as highly skilled craftsmen.
