History
The Fragments of the True Halo is believed to be the remnants of the divine halo of the God-Emperator adorning their head when they fell. According to Imperial tradition, it was discovered by Saint Iona, during a pilgrimage to the site of the Battle of Cairnhollow around 326 PI. Iona identified the True Halo through miraculous signs, and the discovered parts were enshrined in Yharnam. Over the centuries, fragments were distributed to churches and individuals across the Imperium as relics.
