This particular Town is a pretty even mix of Elves and Vastaya with a sprinkling of Humans, Selki, and Siren.
Government
Naethluma is maintained and run by the School board though the Arch Arcani has final say with the goings on.
Defences
Naethluma is surrounded by solid stone walls and also protected by many, many, wards that are created and maintained by the Arch and Master Arcani.
Industry & Trade
Naethluma is known for its enchanted items from magical journals that edit your writing mistakes to armors that grant you extra speed and strength. It is also known for its school, Konrorth, that lies in the center of the city and is one of the eight major magic schools of the realm.

History
Naethluma started out as a small town with a school for magic on the edge of the town run by a single teacher. Over the years the school-which was named Konrorth- grew to a very large school with the town growing to encircle the base. Eventually the town's council handed control of the town over to the school in exchange for protection from the wilds around them.
Tourism
Most tourists come during the early spring and early fall to try to see if they can gain admission to the school. These tourists stay for a few weeks, seeing all the shops and staying either at the school its-self if they have family already in the school or at the Moon Tree in which is located across from the bridge to the school. However those that don't make it into the school often leave soon after to travel to and try to gain admittance to one of the other eight schools or returning home, a very few gaining apprenticeships with local enchanters and shops.
The other tourists to the town are adventurers and traveling merchants seeking enchanted items to either aid in a quest or fulfill orders. These people don't typically stick around a long time but help continue the economy of Naethluma.

Naethluma is situated at the bottom of the mountains that divide Kraviathae- the home of the Telvani Elves-and Aestreven- the home of the Vastaya.

Naethluma is surrounded by trees with the mountains at its back providing both metal ores and wood as more basic materials.
