Psijacks

Summary

A psijack is a pair of implants in the wrists that allows non-psionic individuals to interact with technology that otherwise requires psionic capabilities to make use of. It was originally an Omneri invention to allow other races to interact with their tech, and the designs have since been studied enough by the new inhabitants of Enveon to replicate the designs. They act as a means of personal identification, and allow users to interface directly with some technology and operate it with their minds. Many people have base-model psijacks, but hackers and spec-ops often have high-spec models that better suit their needs.

Description

Psijacks are very small implants upon the wrists that resemble triangles and a complex micro-processor within the brain. While normal operation of fully psi-compatible equipment usually just requires close proximity to the wrist implants, both psijacks come with a short cable within the forearms that allow them to directly plug into some less advanced technology to allow the user to interface using their mind.
