Scientific achievement

When the world discovered the ability to harness Ion and started implementing it mechanically and biologically.

It was here that The Matter discovered and began harnessing the power of Ion to all forms of life. Many sentient beings saw an increase in productivity (whether for work or leisurely activities), significant longevity in life cycle and overall improvement in ways of life. Rapid automation was also used to replace biological labor that was deemed trivial or menial.   The discovery was made by Tierdin, a Genasi who had been working on a renewable source of energy at Symtech.
