Mahjinbo

The mahjinbos are the major Enkin native to the layer: 005'0215'17'06.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The mahjinbos body is made up of a high viscosity goo like substance. Because their body technically is a liquid that do posses minor shape changing abilities, most prominently the ability to change the shape of the top and back of the head into what can appear like different hairstyles, but also to a lesser degree the ability to manipulate their overall body and face shape, which allows them to make themselves appear more slender, muscular, masculine, feminine, etc.

Genetics and Reproduction

The mahjinbos has a specific life stage that is meant for reproduction. In this stage the mahjinbo looses all shape of their body and turns into a bobble of very viscous goo that is suspended from a ceiling, branch, ect. Over time a drip will start to form at the bottom a the mahjinbo and once it has reached enough mass it drops and turns into a new mahjinbo. As the mahjinbo doesn't age they are effectively able to keep producing new mahjinbos till the end of time, it is a very slow process though. To speed up the process multiple mahjinbos can combine into a single bobble. A bobble of two mahjinbos produce a new mahjinbo at half the time it would take for a single mahjinbo bubble. Multiple mahjinbos can only combine into a bobble at the time of formation. Once the bobble is formed it is not possible for another mahjinbo to join into that bobble.

Growth Rate & Stages

The mahjinbos have to life stages. A primary life stage in which they live their life just as everybody else and a secondary reproducing life stage which they can transition into at anytime they want, but it is a permanent transition. In the secondary life stage the mahjinbo has no ability to interact with the world but is able to observe everything that goes on around them.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The mahjinbos are unique in that they do not need to consume food. They still need water (or another liquid) though.
