Temple of Sunlight
Temples of the Sunlight can be found all across , and are dedicated to Tristian, God of the Healing Sunlight.
Furthermore, they consider it blasphemy to charge money for these services, as it is through the powers of Tristian that any natural healing can take place, and it is their divine lord's will to make this available to all who suffer.
As such, their treatments aren't nearly as effective as those who resort to divine - or as the followers of Tristian claim, wholly arcane - powers to heal otherwise fatal wounds, yet at the same time they completely remove the risk of the dreaded Healing Rot. Mixed with their refusal to charge money for their services, instead wholly relying on donations, their temples are often overcrowded during times of plague and famine, yet they claim their heavenly lord protects them from contracting the deadly diseases they treat.
While this sort of policy would doom most other temples to obscurity for a lack of new followers, the oppressive presence of the Healing Rot at the back of everybody's mind together with the overwhelmingly positive public image of both this god and his adherents ensure not only an equilibrium, but even a steady growth in his influence, thanks to the gradual expansion of large cities, where sickness hides behind every corner and their services are more popular than ever.
A popular myth is that Tristian refused his place among the stars alongside his fellow deities, but rather endlessly roams the mortal planes in the guise of a travelling priest, healing the afflicted and even performing miracles, yet even within the temple there are large debates of whether this myth is to be believed at all.
The Temple as a House of Healing
They are renowned for their hospitality and willingness to offer sleeping places for the poor and downtrodden, as well as offer aid to the sick. In contrast to other temples, whose followers offer their healing powers to those with enough coin, the followers of Tristian believe that the Healing Rot is divine punishment for unnaturally extending life, keeping a rotting soul within a restored body, and as such only use natural forms of healing, such as herbs, a warm abode, or simply emotional and spiritual support.Furthermore, they consider it blasphemy to charge money for these services, as it is through the powers of Tristian that any natural healing can take place, and it is their divine lord's will to make this available to all who suffer.

The Institutions of the Healing Sunlight
As opposed to most other deities, the scriptures of Tristian do not preach supremacy, but quite contrarily actively shun any active attempt of conversion, instead believing that those who are destined to serve Tristian will naturally find their way to his temple.
