Night-Whisp

This infamously silent ghost-like apparition is a rare and elusive creature. No one has been close enough to catch one. There are very few, but they frequent high cliffs and canyons across the continent. Appearing to weary travellers in the darkness of night, the Night-whisp draws its prey with a hypnotic light that is near impossible to resist unless the unfortunate is restrained and held in complete darkness until the light of day can revive them. The few who have been shaken from the trance have not been able to describe their experience after the fact. Little else is known about the Night-Whisp, it appears to live in caverns and caves upon the cliffs it favours and feeds on any creature it can trap in its thrall.
