Gnolmaerts
Gnolmaerts is a forested town in the Bushback Woods with a stream feeding in from the Khomerian Stretch.
Various dilapidated huge buildings occupy most of Gnolmaerts, and many large mansions, mills, and governmental buildings sit in disrepair. Though some of these have their origins in the time before the Cataclysm, many were abandoned after Busac and Khomer's battles ended, with its citizens favoring a life without such political strife.
- A statue of Vogan, the god of storms, still sits mostly unharmed in the older financial center. It has existed since -189, though its cited representation has shifted from Vogan to Set to an avatar of Fueriga to an unknown hero. The original nameplate below it has been stripped away long ago, though it can be found in a dungeon that connects to a wine cellar under a large abandoned mansion.
- Some of the citizens have been expressing a desire to demolish some of the older buildings and sell the materials to afford to build their own structures, leaving their dreadful past behind them. This decision narrowly passed, and some became more hotheaded than others. One of the main issues is what to do with BUILDING, which encapsulates the Tyon Hub for Gnolmaerts. Its vaulted ceilings and heavy stone architecture make it difficult to destroy the surrounding structure while leaving the Hub intact.
- A fraction of those upset at the decision to destroy the older homes and buildings of Gnolmaerts have arranged contracts with shady individuals to excavate and find any sort of caverns that may reveal a weakness if the buildings were to be torn down. However, they instead found a series of natural caverns and secret chambers from back in the days of Busbac and Khomer, and were then paid extra to fill it with various monsters and other creatures.
