Mystic
A Mystic uses his mind and mental state to alter the world around them. Using their psionic powers to communicate thought and manipulate objects.

Psionic Burst, Lesser: As a partial action, the Mystic can hijack ambient telepathic energy to deliver a focused psychic assault on a sentient creature. Choose a single creature within 10 meters + (2 × Mystic level). That creature takes psychic damage equal to your Mystic level, plus 1 additional point of damage for each point your Foresight exceeds the target's. The target may attempt a simple Intellect saving throw to negate the damage. Telepathic Beginnings: Mystics possess an innate attunement to the currents of thought that ripple through all sentient minds. Beginning at 1st level, a Mystic can use this connection to transmit brief messages to others. As a free action, the Mystic may send a message to any creature it can see within 10 meters + (2 × Mystic level). The message is silently received and understood by any creature capable of thought, regardless of language.Conditional Abilities

Aptitude for Rhetoric: A natural gift of Rhetoric gives a Mystic a +12 in either Negotiations, Charisma or Speechcraft. While communicating through telepathy, this bonus is doubled. Mental Training: When this ability is gained, for each instance of Mental Training you already have, gain an additional +10 Awareness. Psychic Shield, Lesser: The Mystic’s mental fortitude gives strength at resisting the effects of psychic powers on their mind. They gain a +10 Psychic resistance.Level 2

Telepathic Delivery: A Mystic can transmit a sensory impression, such as an image, smell, sound, or taste, to another creature. To do so, the Mystic makes a simple Awareness check. The result determines how accurately the sensation is conveyed: the closer the result is to 1, the more precisely the sensation matches the original. If the Mystic is currently experiencing the sensation they are attempting to project, they gain a +10 per Mystic level bonus to their Awareness check.Conditional Abilities

Mental Training: When this ability is gained, for each instance of Mental Training you already have, gain an additional +10 Awareness. Telepathic Proficiency: Through continued attunement to telepathic currents, Mystics refine their ability to engage in deeper mental communication. Starting at 3rd level, a Mystic can initiate a two-way telepathic link with a creature they can see within 10 meters + (2 × Mystic level) as a minor action. The creature must be capable of thought to understand the communication. Once established, the Mystic and the target can freely exchange thoughts and questions for a number of minutes equal to the Mystic’s level. This ability recharges after 12 hours. Telepathic Visions: A Mystic can use their powers to create fictional images in a target creature's mind. The target must make a contested Foresight save against the Mystic's Bluff skill. If the Mystic has more successes, the target gains one of the following conditions chosen when the ability is used: Confused, Enthralled, Feared, or Nauseous.Level 4

Psychic Shield: The Mystic’s mental fortitude gives strength at resisting the effects of psychic powers on their mind. They gain a +50 Psychic resistance. This ability replaces Psychic Shield, Lesser. Reinforced Neural Pathways: Repeated telepathic use has trained the brain to more efficiently handle the strain. A Mystic can use Telepathic Proficiency, Advanced Telepathy or Veteran Telepathy twice before recharging.Level 5

Advanced Telepathy: At 6th level, the Mystic's telepathic abilities expand, allowing for more complex and inclusive communication. As a minor action, the Mystic can initiate a telepathic conversation with a creature they can see within 10 meters + (2 × Mystic level). The message is understood by any creature capable of thought, and the target can respond freely. The Mystic may include a number of additional creatures equal to half their Foresight (minimum 1) in the same telepathic exchange. All participants can mentally converse with each other for a duration of minutes equal to the Mystic’s level. This ability recharges after 6 hours. This ability replaces Telepathic Proficiency. Mental Training: When this ability is gained, for each instance of Mental Training you already have, gain an additional +10 Awareness.Level 7

As a minor action, the Mystic may initiate a mental conversation with a creature within 20 meters + (2 × Mystic level). The message is understood by any creature capable of thought, and the target can respond freely. The Mystic may also include a number of additional creatures equal to half their Foresight (minimum 1) in the same telepathic exchange. All participants can communicate with one another for a number of minutes equal to the Mystic’s level. This ability recharges after 1 hour. This ability replaces Advanced Telepathy.Level 9

Master of Telepathy: At 10th level, the Mystic becomes a beacon of telepathic energy, able to connect minds across great distances. The Mystic can telepathically converse with any creature they have previously met, regardless of location, as long as the creature is on the same plane of existence. As a free action, the Mystic may initiate a conversation with such a creature. The message is understood by any creature capable of thought, and the creature can respond freely. In addition, the Mystic may include any number of additional creatures in the same telepathic exchange. This ability is always active. This ability replaces Veteran Telepathy. Psionic Burst, Master: The Mystic can hijack telepathic waves to unleash a psychic assault on a creature. As a partial action, choose one creature within 10 meters + (2 × Mystic level). The target takes psychic damage equal to your Mystic level plus three times your Foresight. The target may attempt a challenging Intellect saving throw to reduce the damage by half.
