Timeline of Global Events

The climate crisis resulted in the widespread destruction of human and animal habitats and the depletion of many natural sources, notably various fossil fuel reserves.
The radical actions of the then recently founded White Night Corps and the subsequent Uranium Green environmental movement prevented the crisis from reaching an apocalyptic level.

The Second Atomic Age saw the rapid improvement and deployment of nuclear reactors to reduce fossil fuel reliance and help reduce the effects of global warming. Effective means of long-term nuclear waste management were also achieved in this period.
