Born on a world in the middle of CSTO space, he somehow managed to resist the indoctrination of the government and the church until his early adulthood, after he finished university he began working on his side projects, those, in time brought prosecution on him from the hands of the CSTO government, and thus after a few years of living at the bottom line of poverty, he managed to find sanctuary on the colony called Tarlon that has recently declared independence.
He lived on the colony for quite some time, until, 15 years ago, it was destroyed, it is said that he had died, defending his newest creation, a true AI prototype, better in potential than anything the world has ever seen. Show Spoiler

The truth is, that he survived, with a help of a few friends he managed to fix is grievous injuries, and enter a prototype pod that was a mix of cryostasis and automated medical unit, what happened to him after that, no one knows. As to what happened to his creation, Berivoj has stated that he has secured his "child" to be safe until he can make his return.
15 years have passed since that day, and no one has seen him since, those who knew him theorize that he is somewhere among the stars, building a secret laboratory on some forgotten world.
