[Directive Ω]

Created soon after the discovery of "The Border" by the Omega Legion, that is also enforcing it to its full extent. While not being actively hidden, most usual citizens will never know about its existence. The existence of this directive is revealed by the captains of ships that are planning on crossing "The Border".

Purpose

It is said that the directive was created to defend humanity from some unknown threat. And considering the fact of how fanatically it is enforced, many believe it is true. The main question that is. What is it protecting us from, and why?

Recognition

Almost all major powers recognize this directive to some extend, going out of their way to follow it as closely as possible. It is said that this, is one of the few things that these giants can agree on.
The only power that doesn't recognize the directive is the African League, stating that nothing should get between it, and exploration. The Omega Legion is still trying its best to follow the directive even on ships of the AL, but their job is hardened by the fact that they are officially recognized as a terrorist organization by the AL.
The Omega Legion is mainly supported by Mars and CSTO, with NATO endorsing it unofficially, because of its democratic roots.

Contents

It is said that the Omega Directive is a complex guide on any possible situation that the directive is supposed to handle. The version given to the ship captains is greatly simplified into a few key poínts, for example, no psychically active personnel on board.
The full version of the directive is known only to a select few of individuals, it has to be said that none of these individuals seem to be leaders of the major powers.
