Jean Paul the Wanderer

How long have I been wandering? I remember not, or maybe I choose not to remember. Does it matter? I don't believe it does. I don't think I left anything behind, nor do I think there is any place I am going to. Where to then, do these feet take me? A hearty meal, ingredients to appreciate, or just the horizon. Anywhere at all, and nowhere in particular. What drives me then? I live to be the best I can be, and at that I pride myself to be alive. The key to a happy life is to find balance. Nature's bounty is there to be enjoyed, but what is taken should in some way find its way back.
Should others live like I do? Maybe they should, maybe they shouldn't. I have no intention to "preach my mantra" or "spread my evangelion" to those around me. I don't believe ideology should be forced upon someone, much like a plate of food should not be forced down someone's throat. A good plate of food celebrates the ingredients and inspires others to eat. Just like this a good life celebrates the living and inspires others to live. Note though, that food is for share, but just for taking. And like there is no place for greed around a dining table, there is no place for greed in the world.
I now wander the plains of Belem, living of nature's bounty, in search of the fabled Belemese Gingerroot, known as a famous delicacy throughout the known world and beyond. I wander, with little more than my cooking utensils and my insatiable hunger weighing me down, in search of a new meal to eat. A new meal, to appreciate.
