Ryan Walker D.C.
The capital of Naa'ran is named after the leader of the humans after the Great Exodus from Earth, Ryan Walker II, as well as the Earthen city, Washington D.C. This city-state is home of the House of Delegates and the Senate, the Presidential Palace, The Grand Court, and numerous governmental sites. It is also one of the most toured states of the country.
Government
Unlike it's predecessor on Earth, Walker D.C. has always had a government so it could self-govern.
Executive
Overseen by a governor, a vice governor, and an attorney general.
Legislative
The legislative branch of this state is the D.C. Council, a unicameral legislature consisting of 16 people elected by each of the eight districts; 2 reps per ward. They have 2 year terms, alternating the years for the election. 8 seats are up for election one year and the other 8 the next year. The Vice Governor is the head of the Council, and is responsible for breaking any ties.
Judicial
The Judiciary is elected by the legislature. They serve 10-year terms, with a mandatory retirement at 75. The justices select their own chief justice, who is legally limited to one 4-year term.

Districts
Le Montagne Ward
The district of Walker housing the University of Alexandria and the surrounding communities. Basically this area is considered the college town of D.C. It is affectionately called Alexandriatown, as it is reminiscient of Georgetown once upon a time.
Nebelig Ward
Named acter the German word for 'foggy', given this part of the city-state gets foggy more often than the surrounding areas. The ward most well-known for it's high concentration of federal buildings and office jobs. This is where the Presidential Palace, the Grand Court, and the Congressional buildings reside, mostly in the northern section of the ward. A bit further south, there are mansions typically occupied by foreign embassies.
Dolina Ward
Houses the city's shopping districts, parks, and museums. This is the second district the city-state is well known for, the first being the Nebelig Ward. Well-known for Deliyyah National Park,
Potomac Ward
A largely residential ward, home of the gorgeous neighborhood of Utaly'yniti, named from the Ph'tani word for the purple tree forest nearby. It is the furthest ward to the south, but it's definitely worth the visit.
Albany Ward
Home of a smaller university, Anacostia University of Science and Magic.
Racine Ward
Perhaps the most diverse ward, ranging from homes to industry. It is also home to the biggest Children of the Prophet church, St. Augustine's Baptist Church.
Tuscon Ward
This is where the city-state government is housed, as well as some small cultural towns that are remnants of Earth such as Chinatown, Japantown, Little Italy, Little Spain, and more. Home to numerous offices and corporations, and is nicknamed the corporate center of the country.
Houston Ward
Another area full of mostly single-family homes and small commerce. Oldest district and is where the Great Migration occurred.
