The real key to uncovering hidden realities was found in his long lost manuscript, a scripture that contained wisdom and raw power.
The party found this work in a treasure vault in Althena, and Ruffstrom endeavored to try and understand it. However, before the party could understand the contents, the manuscript and Ruffstrom both met their destructive end in a hail of gunpowder and seawater.
As Dimsum managed to enter two different planes of reality through the help of a "planar key" disguised as a sword, and Edyrm Holadi, he came across a world of fog and mist in vibrant pastel colours. In there was a mansion, inhabited by a young Godfrey Cantrell.
Interacting with this temporal oddity, the party seeks to learn more about the planes while a forbing sense that some extraplanar force is weighing down on them.
