Achabid Sultanate

The Achabid Sultanate is an arid, ancient empire stretched across the southeastern continent of Vergetel. It is a land of sun-bleached cities, forgotten gods, and political pageantry that is far more dangerous than it looks. Once a center of magical and theological scholarship, the Sultanate today is a nation in transition: half caught in the weight of its past, half sold to the ambitions of the present.
It is ruled—nominally—by Sultan Sulaiman XII, a once-powerful monarch now mostly reduced to ceremonial blessings and signature duties. In reality, the reins of power are increasingly gripped by Vichar Revaz Nuh, a magistrate turned populist demagogue whose rise has shaken the Sultanate’s old alliances and stirred tensions with the Camel Faith and other institutions that rely on shadows rather than slogans.
