Anatomy
They tend to be medium in size, one could comfortably fit in one hand of a Shampil.
They tend to be cup shaped, with their five petals standing around the centre stamen-y things.
They tend to be found in the colours red, orange, yellow and white, though it has been discovered that, through specific breeding, other colours and shades can be achieved.
Genetics and Reproduction
They have seeds that, when loose, and if the flower is shaken by the wind, scatter in the nearby area, leading to the massive fields.
Ecology and Habitats
Naturally grows in the rich soil surrounding dark forests.
Biological Cycle
The petals take on a slight blue-ish hue as the weather gets colder but returns with the sun.
Behaviour
They let off a wonderful scent that, along with their bright colouration, causes many to keep them in multiple areas within the home.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Though they are safe to consume, they have no taste so aren't generally thought of as a food source.
Mostly used in decoration or accessories, most notably in the crown of the Lorvin Cuinn.
Their petals can be ground down to produce dyes of multiple colours, and due to their abundance around Shampilz, are the most common source of red dyes.

Grows a lot around the area now owned by Shampilz.
