Fungal Spore

Daniel's Logbook Entry:

Espor are incredibly intelligent and incredibly shy, appearing only when they wish to be seen, usually after something has died. Except for Brandon's Espor. She's a nasty one. If you get on her bad side, she'll forgive you for a bag of fresh berries.

— Daniel Carona

Basic Information

Anatomy

Fungal spore spirits are small, maxing out at three inches tall. They can have different variants depending on the region they grow in, however all of them share the same characteristic: The cap is the same color as their main body, but darker in shade.

Dietary Needs and Habits

With a few exceptions, fungal spore spirits largely feed on organic plant matter. Anything on the forest floor is good pickings for them.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Fungal spore spirits are not picky and will eat food in any type of state: fresh, moldy, or rotten. This makes them easy to feed and keeps rubbish in the canteen low. They are also relatively passive and easy to get along with.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Fungal Spores reside mainly in forests, areas with lots of organic plant matter. They tend to remain solitary although they tolerate pairing up temporarily.
