Pilgrams Sanctuary
History
One of the largest in the Abbey network and also the most difficult to travel to. This abbey was founded in 780, after a group of dwarven surveyors became trapped by winter storms in caves between the Eastern High Peak Mountains and Western High Peak Mountains.
While sheltering from the storm the surveyors discovered shadowed steal (see Rare Crafting Materials ) in the caves. The abbey was built on this site and the monks mine and refine this rare material.
