Nadin Seasnake
Backstory
Nadim al-Bahr, heir to House Seasnake , was born in 1141 among the waves that define his people’s legacy. His childhood unfolded on the decks of his family’s swiftest caravels, where he learned to read the tides before he could read a map. Now in command of the Azure Wind, Nadim patrols the western coasts of Belkar, safeguarding merchant fleets and raiding pirates that threaten his house’s trade. Though nobles at court call him austere, his men know him as fair, loyal, and unflinchingly brave. His leadership has preserved the Seasnake name through storms and war alike. Yet, beneath his calm exterior lies a dangerous flaw—an obsession with perfection that drives him past exhaustion and alienates those closest to him.
