Background
The current head of House Emberforge. Murphy is a competent but greedy ruler. Born in 1104 and taking over the leadership of the house in 1136, Murphy has changed little about his house.
Once a middling power, and still a middling power, Murphy spends most of his time planning vast mine expansions that will take decades to build.
He raises the money for these projects through high tariffs on goods and small bribes on everything to enrich himself.
