Backstory
Himilcar “Saltmaine” Moonshadow, heir to the proud House Moonshadow was born with the sea in his blood and the horizon in his heart. While others of his lineage ruled from stone halls, Himilcar chose the rolling decks of triremes, patrolling the eastern coast of Belkar. Hence the nickname “Saltmaine”. He is a scourge to pirates, a guardian to merchants, and a legend among sailors who follow him into any storm. Ambitious and brave, yet stubborn and simple at his core, Himilcar believes life’s truths are found in salt, wind, and loyalty. He fights for honor without guile and commands through presence rather than politics. Though destiny marks him for nobility, he finds greater glory in the creak of oars, the crash of waves, and the endless song of the open sea.
He was named heir of House Moonshadow by his father Himilar Moonshadow at the age of 16.
