Great Grass Abby

Backstory

Founded in 871 as a trading post between House Emberforge and the nomadic tribes of the Northern Steppes and Southern Steppes. Over the next 400 years many of the steppe tribes settled and the Abby lost sustained contact with the dwarven holds.

Today the Abby is seen as a spiritual place for the steppes, and local nobles from House Stonefoot often consult the monks for advise and the library of records inside.

The Abby is also rumoured to be experts in animal husbandry, breeding new species of horses, wolves, sheep, deer, antelope, goats, buffalo and others.
