Frost Pine Abby
Backstory
Located in the northern reaches of the Frost Pine Forest, Frost Pine Abby was built deep in the northern woods to hew the large old grown timber in these woods.
Some of these trees are so ancient it takes the monks weeks to fell a single tree. Often the monks will build hammered spike steps into the tree and they will fell large lower limbs to turn into the timber frames for ships across the continent.
The Abby itself is a 3 story wood frame building and complex. Many of the monks also take up woodworking, woodcarving and other related specialties.
There are about 150 monks that live in this Abby year round.
