Founded in 972, the Blessed Spears were created to police Sultanspire By House Aquilar, These heavily armoured spears are designed to repel the riders common on the steppe plains around the city.

These are well trained and well equipped soldiers; armed with a heavy leaf bladed spear, gladius, and large domed targe shield.

Drilled in large unit tactics, these soldiers typically deploy 6-8 ranks deep, making a solid block of steel to deter any cavalry charge.

These are high quality fighting men, and as such they are paid well, averaging 20 silver pieces per week
